Listing Not Appearing In Craigslist

If you're posting several listings at the same time to craigslist, it's possible to trigger craiglist's spam filter. No one knows the specifics of how craigslist determines spam, but here are some things that have helped others:

 

- Make sure the description for each listing is different. If they're too similar, craigslist may count it as a double post.

 

- Spread out the timing of posting to craigslist (try not to post more than 3-4 at a time, some sites say only 2 at a time).

 

- If at all possible, use different computers and/ or different accounts (if possible get login info for your agent's craigslist acounts, and submit under those accounts, or if you are an admin posting on behalf of an agent, encourage the agent to post to craigslist themselves using the link in the email you send to them).

 

It's a common problem that you'll run into with any system, since it's coming from the craigslist side not ours.  Usually just waiting a couple days then reposting helps quite a bit.
